Amy Lacombe Whimsiclay Cat Figurines

These wonderful looking creations are made by Amy Lacombe, an artist from Calafornia. Amy handpaints all her work which caused me to take a second look at these almost identical cats, and indeed although they do look identical on closer inspection you can clearly see each one has been individually hand painted as the stripes are different on each cat.

Now that was a bit of a revelation for me as i was not a fan of these two, but that bit of individuality makes all the difference, now i love them. Amy Lacombe dries these wonderful clay whimsiclay cat figurines in the Calafornian sun before bisque firing and glazing them.
