Collection of Mid Century Etruscan Brass Patina Horses
An excellent and collectable triad of Etruscan figurine horses, one with a rider, made of brass and decorated with a faux verdigris.
These have been created in the style of the American sculpture Frederick Weinberg who created very distinctive sculptural forms. These creations would have in turn been inspired by the bronze statuettes and figurines created by the Etruscan civilisation who occupied the same region as Rome around 900BC onwards until they were assimilated into the Roman Empire.
