Italian Chipboard Boy and Girl Print By F. Idylle

This original chipboard 1960s print from Italy is by F. Idylle sometimes known as Jolylle a bit of a mystery artist of their time as after doing some research it appears no one really knows who they were, what can be said though is that these paintings were probably inspired by the Big Eyed Kids artwork painted by Warren Keane, which were in fact paintings by his long suffering wife Margaret Keane. Margret stated in an interview that her husband Warren would often stand over her making sure she was painting. Looking at this print i wonder if the artist who painted it knew something about the Keanes before everyone else did. This original bit if kitsch will make a interesting conversation piece.
