A Pair Of Ornamental Porcelain Pig Figurines

I was so tempted to give these the title of ‘A Pair Of Porcelain Piggies’ but alas… Anyway’s these lovely pigs are probably Landrace pig’s the kind of pig we all mostly consume in a tasty bacon sandwich. One of them has a crowned A on its base which is probably an importers mark, and as they are of such good quality i would expect they are probably from Japan. Both are in good condition and date to around the 1950s. One has a small repair to the tip of its right ear, but honestly you wouldn’t notice as together they look great, and they will be missed. I like tomato sauce on my bacon sandwich if you were wondering, Mmm.
