Description

These 4 antiquated copper wall plaques are, for me anyway, very likeable. Along with depicting the Pyramids and Sphynx they also have the Pharaoh Akhenaten who built the city “Horizon of the Aten,” which was dedicated to the worship of the sun.

Queen Nefertiti wore the vulture on her headdress representing the goddess of Nekhbet protector of the Pharaohs and their families.

And Cleopatra wearing the snake known as the Uraeus, a cobra that was associated with the goddess Wadjet.

These have not been cleaned so the copper has darkened and the images appear to be gilded with brass. I love the simplicity of them and i am undecided on whether i would polish them or not, but if you buy them that’s for you to decide.

They all have small folding eyelets on their rears for hanging on the wall.
