Description

These Edwardian glasses feature a beautiful machine etched guilloche pattern made up of precise overlapping ovals. The design follows the decorative tradition made possible by John Northwood’s 1865 Geometrical Etching Machine, which introduced exact, repeating patterns to fine glassware. Each glass varies slightly in height and diameter, a subtle reminder of their hand finished origins. Whether used or displayed, they will bring a little Edwardian charm and craftsmanship to any table.

If you’re interested in a matching piece, I also have an Edwardian decanter and glass set featuring an etched Greek key pattern. You can find it listed separately in the shop here: Elegant Edwardian Machine-Etched Decanter & Glass Set with Greek Key Pattern and would make a lovely companion to these glasses in a continuation of the same craftsmanship tradition.
