Metamec Brass Carriage Clock

This elegant clock features a tortoise shell design on the top and bottom, surrounded by brass accents. It’s a substantial, well-made clock, although it has a somewhat temperamental ticker. After running this clock for several months, I can confirm it keeps time accurately. However, after replacing the battery, you might need to give it a little tap or shake to get the ticker started. Once it’s going, it works reliably, though like anything, it has its quirks. Overall, it’s a very good clock and timekeeper. I haven’t polished the brass yet, but if you choose to do so, the sides and other brass pieces would likely shine beautifully.
