Portugal Barcelo’s Rooster – Vintage Portuguese Rooster Figurines and Bell

This fab four collection of ornaments are a favourite for anyone visiting Portugal and consists of two ceramic roosters and the smaller plastic one. The casting on the bell is made from brass has been handpainted with a flourish design.

These roosters could be of any age as they have been making these for years as the story of the Barcelo’s Rooster is an old one involving 3 main characters, a traveller, a magistrate and a roasted rooster who miraculously managed to crow.
