Traditional African Wooden Mask with Decorative Beads

This wonderful handmade mask is carved from wood and covered with glass beads, and has likely originated from the Maasai tribe or a nearby region. It would make a great addition to an African-themed interior. While the glass beads are used in African art, they were originally and still are imported from Europe, specifically from Italy and the Czech Republic, a tradition that has been ongoing for roughly 150 years.
