Description
I do a fair bit of research on all our items but some things baffle me, in this case the name Winterhalder. Tritschler is a well known maker of crystal or “kristall” in german and “blei kristall” which means lead crystal and is situated in Stuttgart. The Tritschler Winterhalder range of glassware was possibly a anniversary edition in celebration of Robert Winterhalder who was the first to patent a ski lift and incidentally an innkeeper too, his original ski lift was demolished around 1950 around the time these glasses would have hit the shop shelves, thats my best guess and it is a guess or maybe Winterhalder was a designer, where ever i looked i just could not find any info. Very nice though.
