This beautiful set of Bicos Vista Alegre tumblers, made in Portugal, is a fine example of craftsmanship. The emerald green colour and signature diamond-point pattern, known as “Bicos” or “spikes,” have been a staple design since the 19th century. I believe these tumblers were made early in the production period, likely when the company still handcrafted its glass, as indicated by the highly polished bases.
