These beautiful pheasants are most likely to have been made in France, and I believe in their original state they were gilt with a gold covering. These are made from metal and this is a unique set comprising of three different sized pairs all in very good condition and would have been made somewhere between 1900 to the 1930s.

These beautiful pheasants are most likely to have been made in France, and I believe in their original state they were gilt with a gold covering. These are made from metal and this is a unique set comprising of three different sized pairs all in very good condition and would have been made somewhere between 1900 to the 1930s.
They were probably used as some kind of holder for napkins or menus or they may have just been table decorations or dining room decorations which could have either been placed on the dining table or a side table as a centre piece.
