Description
Beautifully detailed small bronze sculpture of a lion by John Letts who was most famed for his commissioned bronze statue of writer George Eliot in Newdegate Square, Nuneaton. There are a few of these sculptures on ebay claiming they are resin. But they are not, I believe they are in fact a small bronze cast created at the J Letts Studio in Astley which was open up until the mid 90’s.
This one has J LETTS etched on the base of the Lion although it’s not in a signature format.
