The Navajo sandpiantings are created as a form of healing art by a medicine man and contain many patterns and images that have symbolic meaning.
Description
Not sure what the symbolic meaning behind this one is as it is estimated that there are around 500 different designs but these could represent the Wind, Thunder, Moon and Earth, or the Four Worlds. It’s in good condition and has a pencilled name on the back which is a bit too faint to decipher.
