Pewter Kangaroo and Joey with Swarovski Crystal Body

Skippy just got blinged. This very nice ornamental kangaroo with a joey in its pouch is made from Australian Pewter (Manon? touchmarked MP) and has a faceted Swarovski crystal body. And…

…no one knows why a baby kangaroo is called a joey, but apparently anything that is a baby in Australia can be called a joey, so im guessing it was either a creation of a British person who called a baby a joey and it just caught on, or possibly it derives from an aboriginal word.
